I’m Maria Lowrey

I am the owner and operator of Maria Lowrey Photography. I am a natural light photographer located in Ft. Worth, Texas area. I specialize in Weddings, Engagements, Boudoir but I also enjoy photographing Maternity, Younger Children, Families and High School Seniors.

When decided to pursue photography in 2008 like a lot of mothers, I wanted photos of my children but really didn’t like the studio look and feel, but couldn’t afford the professional photographers for outdoors. Purchased my first camera and started doing it my self and found I loved it. When I was getting started many of my friends and family asked me to do photograph there children and it kind of snowballed from there. A little about me personally, I am married to my high school sweetheart Tommy who I have been with since I was 18 yrs old. We are blessed to have two wonderful children. Tommy Lee who is 21 and my daughter Katlynn is 12.

I truly love what I do. Sometimes I feel like I need to pinch myself to make sure that this is all real. Every day I feel blessed that I can call this my job. Seriously, my JOB! Love that I  get paid to capture and freeze a moment in your lives…I am a lucky, lucky girl! I’m also a perfectionist, dedicated and I work very, very hard to give you all my best. I put my heart into my work and it is all personal to me. I’m in the business of creating memories and I know how personal that is to you. I hope to capture a special moment for you, that will take you back to that place in time no matter how many years go by.
